I quite like the little guy. He's almost dog-like in how affectionate he is to me. I.. have begun to care a lot about the thing. I've been feeding him nutapples and he seems to enjoy it, but I doubt that's very nutritious. Suggestions?

Filial imprinting is the situation where a young animal or person associate themselves with the object or person they are familiar with, AKA they "imprint". The item picture and effect reflect this, the picture being a hatching cluster of eggs, and the familiar being a young hatchling.
