Hive Cluster is one of two possible maps for the fourth level in Risk of Rain. The other possible map is Magma Barracks.
Hive Cluster is a relatively small map. After falling into the lower caverns, the only escape is by climbing of a rope on the right side of the level, unless the player has significant enhancements to jumping ability. The Artifact of Command can be found in one variant. In the bottom-right of another variant, the Bloated Survivor can be found for an achievement and to unlock the item Dead Man's Foot.

The artifact gate can be found in the upper-rightmost corner of the map. Hanging from the ceiling is a series of invisible, climbable vines that periodically glow a bright pink. Jumping across is sufficient to unlock the Artifact of Command.
Bloated Survivor[]

Bloated Survivor location
The Bloated Survivor can be found in the bottom-right corner of the map. Inspecting the corpse unlocks the Dead Man's Foot item and the achievement of the same name. This also spawns 1-2 Archer Bugs upon inspection.
Interacting with the Bloated Survivor will not drop the item, it just unlocks it.
