Elites[]
All enemies have a chance to spawn as elite variants. The chance grows as the difficulty increases. There are currently five different elites:
- The Blazing elites leave behind a trail of fire and ignite players on hit. They have a red tint and sport two curved black horns on their head.
- The Glacial elites slow the player they hit, and explode after death, freezing the player solid for 1.5 seconds. They are tinted a cold white and have two icicle-like horns on their head.
- The Overloading elites stick a shock-sphere to players they hit, and onto the ground. These spheres detonate after a short period, damaging all nearby players. They also have half their health consisting of a regenerative shield. They are colored an electric blue.
- The Malachite elites restrict healing of players they hit and leave damaging fields on the ground.
- Celestine elites project an aura that renders all enemies including bosses inside of it invisible.
All elites have a significantly higher amount of health than their standard counterparts.
